Description

An electronic module that turns a 6S battery into a power bank. Connect the battery to the XT60 socket and you get four power ports: two USB Type-A and two Type-C with Power Delivery, up to 100 W in total.

It works both ways: the Type-C port not only supplies current but also charges the battery itself, exactly as the cell inside any power bank is charged. A regular 100 W charger is enough. So a single module replaces both the power bank and its charger.

A typical case. You have a battery of unknown condition — pulled from a drone, left over from a repair, simply found somewhere. Plug it in via XT60 and use it while it still holds charge: phone, radio, flashlight. Once the battery is spent, discard it. If it turns out to be sound, charge it through Type-C and keep using it.

What the module cannot do: this version has no active balancing. It will not work with an unbalanced battery — the pack must be sound and balanced. If the cells have drained unevenly, the pack has to be serviced first.

Active balancing is planned for the next models: it will even out slightly unbalanced packs during operation, so they can be used continuously rather than once.
