Description
The battery compartment turns a found or captured battery into a fully functional power bank. Place a suitable 6S battery in the compartment, connect it to both connectors in the bottom of the Zariadzhaika S4 unit (the XT60 power connector and the 7pin balance connector), and screw the unit on top with four screws. The result is a single solid housing with no dangling wires and no separate battery in your pocket. The Zariadzhaika works only with both connectors attached.
There is 25 mm of free space above the battery so the battery cables fit easily without kinking. The connectors face down into the compartment, so nothing sticks out and nothing gets snagged.
The compartment lets soldiers make good use of batteries that would otherwise sit idle: from drones, after flights, from stock. The Zariadzhaika with an active balancer equalizes the cells of such a battery and turns it into a power source for phones, radios, tablets and other equipment.
