5S Balancer for LiIon Battery
The BMS 5S controller is a reliable and efficient protection board for packs of three, four or five Li-ion or Li-po cells connected in series. It uses the BM3451TNDC-T28A microcontroller rated for 21V.
Features:
- Over-discharge, overcharge and short-circuit protection: The board reliably protects the cells against harmful conditions, ensuring their safety and long service life.
- Cell balancing: Provides even charging of the cells, which is key to their efficient use.
- Overheating protection (optional): Protects against unwanted heating of the cells, preserving their efficiency and durability.
- Self-recovery after a short circuit: Once the short-circuit protection has tripped, the controller automatically resumes operation without the need to connect a charger.
- Adjustable current protection: The protection and load current can be reduced by desoldering the “R003” shunt resistors.
